Founder & Clinical Director

Providence Hill was co-founded by Dr. Ginavra Gibson and Robert Gibson.
Dr. Gibson is a Licensed Professional Counselor, clinical supervisor, counselor educator, and organizational consultant with experience in clinical practice, higher education, and mental health leadership.
Her background includes leadership roles within South Carolina’s Department of Mental Health, where she oversaw large teams, developed training initiatives, and implemented innovative clinical programs.
She currently serves as an Assistant Professor in Counselor Education and Supervision and remains actively engaged in research, supervision, and professional training.
