Supervision Services
Dr. Gibson is an experienced and dynamic supervisor who seeks to equip the next generation of professional counselors and counselor supervisors. She offers advanced clinical knowledge, creative supervision practices, and a supportive relational approach.
Supervision for Counselors-in-training
LPC-As can choose from three supervision formats, including individual, triadic, and group, to meet their needs.
Individual Supervision
Provides a 1:1 experience, allowing the supervisee to address a range of clinical and professional issues.
Fee 1 hour: $100
Triadic Supervision
Provides a 1:2 experience, allowing two supervisees to share a time of addressing clinical and professional issues. Service provision is contingent upon identifying a compatible pair of supervisees.
Fee 1 hour: $55
Group Supervision
Consists of 3-9 supervisees who meet to discuss clinical and professional issues. This format is unique because it provides a supportive and collaborative setting for supervisees to learn from the supervisor and each other.
Fee per group (2 hours): $50
Supervision for Supervisors-in-training
For licensed professional counselors preparing to step into the role of supervisor, I provide mentorship and consultation that goes beyond meeting board requirements. My approach emphasizes developing a personal supervision model, strengthening ethical decision-making, and cultivating leadership skills grounded in emotional intelligence and cultural humility. Together, we explore practical strategies for balancing clinical, administrative, and educational supervision responsibilities while building confidence in your ability to guide future counselors.
Whether you are pursuing the Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS) credential, preparing for your state’s LPC-S designation, or simply seeking to refine your supervisory practices, I provide structured guidance and support to help you grow into an effective, ethical, and reflective supervisor.

What state(s) do you provide LICENSURE SUPERVISION for?
South Carolina
How many hours of supervision do I need to get licensed?
You need a total of 120 hours of supervision over two years to be licensed in SC.
How many group supervision hours can I get?
Half (60 hours) of your hours can be group supervision hours.
What paperwork do I need to complete to get started?
Dr. Ginavra Gibson’s supervision contract and the SCLLR Board’s Plan for Clinical Supervision forms must be completed before starting supervision.
